TEST DRIVE MEME Prompt 1: Arrival Your first "day" Vernos Bay - at least, you assume it's daytime. The people are all out and going about their business, walking dogs, driving cars, operating their shops. There's no sunlight, however. No wind, no weather at all. Just this weird twilight, and you, a confused stranger who has no idea where they are or how they got here. Better find someone to help you get acclimated, and fast; people are starting to stare. Prompt 2: Festivus for the Rest of Us A festival seems to have broken out in the streets in honor of one of the gods. As the day wears on, things become rowdier and more jubilant. "Unimaginative."

She takes a step forward and into the air. From a higher vantage point she might get a better understanding of where she is. That she's leaving the guy with the face paint behind doesn't bother her in the least.

Ryan starts to chuckle darkly, because if she's calling him unimaginative, she clearly doesn't know who she's talking to. But when she rises into the air, he doesn't gasp or gape or any such thing - merely observes.

"How's the view?" he asks, as though this is perfectly normal.

She simply floats for a time, watching the horizon. Then she comes back and touches lightly to the ground.

"Odd. Nothing past the city limits appears to be real." It looks like there's a world out there, but there isn't.

That makes him smile, just a little. "Odd time to be thinking about ontology as it applies to our current situation, isn't it?" He knows the feeling - sometimes he thinks that Los Santos is all there is. "Though the nature of reality itself is a tricky thing. How do I know you're real?"

"What you think you know is unimportant." She's not really even talking to him, more just thinking out loud.

She doesn't move forward for a long moment, though, staring at the horizon full of shops and office buildings.

"There is no strong source of power here... only a vacuum." She frowns.

"No... several vacuums."
